Vietnam is a really child-centered country. Children are considered precious, and are cared for almost to the point of over-indulgence. Regardless of this, services for children are limited.  

For guests, in the event you travel with Gia Linh Travel, we will find plenty of things for children to see and do. Other than objective built ‘playgrounds’ such as the water parks in the cities, or ‘fun’ cultural actions such as the water puppets and Hanoi's circus (when it has performances), we are able to construct in activities appropriate to children's age stage and interests.

In rural area, meals might be a problem for fussy eaters. We are able to overcome that with picnics. There shouldn't be any problems within the cities, unless your children are McDonald’s addicts - there is no in Vietnam! 

Toddlers and young children will revel in the consideration they get - they'll be cuddled and cosseted everywhere. If they are not too ‘clingy’, you can enjoy a fairly relaxed meal in hotels and restaurants as a result of the staff will want to take turns to entertain them. 

Baby food within reason simple to obtain, however disposable nappies and diapers are less common are comparatively expensive. Breast-feeding infants is OK, however not in apparent public areas. 

Child fare coverage

It’s troublesome for us to have a standard percentage discount for children as a result of there's considerable variation among hotels and other service providers. Some provide free cots and a few times a 3rd mattress, others charge for the facilities or don't offer them at all. Some present a free crèche, child minding and/or children's entertainment programmes, others charge, and the remaining provides minimal child amenities or none at all. Discounts, the place offered, differ drastically from hotel to hotel.  

Vietnam Airways child coverage is 75% of the grownup fare for children aged from 2 to 12, 10% of the adult fare for a baby in arms, and full fare above twelve years old. Vietnam Railways permit children below 5 to travel freed from charge, and scale back the adult fare by 50% for children aged from 5 to 10 years old. 

Our normal observes is to work out the price as normal. If your child or children are eligible for reductions, the price on the itinerary will likely be given separately. In general, anyone older than 12 is unlikely to qualify for a discount. The amount of low cost for children that qualify will vary in response to the locations you go to and the technique of travel.
