This full-day trip takes you to
the Perfume Pagoda, one of the most important religious
sites in Buddhist Vietnam. This complex of pagodas are set
amidst blue mountains, forests, lakes and caves, surrounded
by vast green rice-growing plains and only reached by boat
and foot. Float by boat along scenic waterways and walk up
mountain paths visiting the pagodas and temples that were
built in this area over the centuries are of very interest.
After breakfast, you will be
driven through the picturesque countryside to Perfume
Pagoda, one of the most important Buddhist sites in Vietnam.
Upon arrival, you will embark on a rowing boat trip along
the scenic waterway of Yen Stream to the main wharf of Huong
Tich Mountain. You'll then start hiking up to visit Perfume
Pagoda, a complex of pagodas and shrines built into the
limestone cliffs of Huong Tich Grotto. After picnic lunch,
you'll walk downhill and have a brief look at Thien Tru
Pagoda (Heaven Kitchen). You'll then take a boat ride back
to Duc Harbor where our car and driver await to transfer you
