Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City arrival (D, G pick up)
Arriving at
Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City, you'll be driven to your hotel. Rest
of the day, you'll be free to stroll around the city until our guide and drive
pick you up for a "Welcome Dinner" at one of a famous restaurant.
You?ll spend
the night in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh
City/Nam Cat Tien (B, L, D, Park G)
In the morning, your guide
and driver will pick you up to travel to Nam Cat Tien National Park. It?s
approximately 100km (70miles) north east of Ho Chi Minh City and is home to
numerous birds. On arrival, you?ll take a boat trip to cross the river to the
Park centre and enjoy your lunch at the park restaurant.
After lunch, you'll
be driven 9 km in a Jeep and then hike for three kilometres through the
rainforest to Crocodile Lake - you may see some of the typical wild fauna
en-route. You'll then be able to see with your eyes the wildlife around the lake
in the evening when the wild animals come to the lake to drink. You may see some
kind of animals such as monkeys, deer and other small mammals.
You'll spend the night at
the guesthouse in the park.
Day 2: Nam Cat Tien (B, L, D, Park G)
After breakfast, you would have all day for
discover the various kinds of birds in the park and in the lake as well.
Day 3: Nam Cat Tien/Ho
Chi Minh City (B, L, Park G)
Breakfast at your guest
house, you'll take a tour to Ben Ngu by bicycle
and explore the nearby Ben Ngu area. You?ll have time to go for a walk around
the massive trees, dripping vines, and visiting the rapids. You'll have your
time for lunch in the canteen.
After lunch,
you'll have
your time for lunch in the canteen and drive to Dalat. When you arrive, you'll
be free to stroll around in Dalat market. You'll spend the night in Dalat.
Day 5: Dalat (B, L, G)
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up for an orientation tour of Dalat.
You'll ride a cable car to Truc Lam Pagoda and Tuyen Lam Lake to visit
attractive Flower Garden. Enjoy a tranquil environment and fresh air amidst such
attractive landscapes as mountains, woods, lakes, streams, waterfalls. Lunch at
local restaurant. In the afternoon, you'll
have time to learn more about many kinds of birds surround the lake. You'll
spend the night in Dalat.
Day 6: Dalat (B, L, G)
In the morning, you'll be picked up and
transferred to Lang Bian Mountain where you can have a full day of bird
watching. It is also one of the hotspots for birdwatchers in Dalat. You'll return to the city in the afternoon. Spend the night
in Dalat.
Day 7: Dalat/Hanoi (B, L, G)
Your time will be your own until you'll be picked
up to the airport for your flight to Hanoi.Upon
arrival at Noi Bai airport, our guide will greet and accompany you to your
hotel. Free time until you?ll be picked up to watch water puppet performance, a
traditional art form closely connected with the long-standing spiritual life of
the Vietnamese people. You?ll then be driven to a good local restaurant and
enjoy a welcome dinner with us. Your overnight stay will be in Hanoi.
Day 8: Hanoi/Cuc Phuong (B, L, D, Park G)
Breakfast
at the restaurant, you'll be picked up and transferred to Cuc Phuong, the first national park of Vietnam and is the
country's largest natural reserve with the variety of
flora and fauna
with thousand-year-old trees and dripping vines. You?ll firstly be guided to
visit the Prehistory Cave and the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre. You could
take this opportunity to see with your eyes and know more about thousands of
different endangered
species.
You'll spend the night at a bungalow in the middle of forest.
Day 9: Cuc Phuong National Park
(B, L, D, Park G)
You'll be waken up by
the beautiful
sounds of birdsong. You'll then take a walk through the lush rainforest that
makes up the park to enjoy your day with seeing so many kinds of birds.
You'll spend the night at the park center.
Day 10: Cuc Phuong National Park (B, L, Park G)
After breakfast,
you will continue enjoy half
day bird watching.
After lunch, you'll be picked up to return to Hanoi to spend the night.
Day 11: Hanoi/Tam Dao (B, L, D, Park G)
After breakfast, you'll travel to Tam Dao
National Park (80 km).It
covers a large part of Tam Dao range, which is one of the terminal spurs of a
larger mountainous area. Tam Dao National Park is covered by rich flora
consisting of 490 species, the high classes belonging to 344 genera and 130
families. The park is a promising center for forest ecological research on rare
and valuable flora and fauna. You
could have chance to see so many kinds of birds there such as
ied falconets, ratchet-tailed
tree pies, bar-backed partridges, fork-tailed sunbirds and pin-tailed pigeons.
You'll spend the night in Tam Dao.
Day 12: Tam Dao/Hanoi (B, L, Park G)
Morning bird watching. You'll return to Noi Bai
airport for your departure flight.
